The Northwest Roaster’s Group

The Northwest Roaster’s Group is comprised of roasters located from Northern California, Hawaii, Alaska and the Pacific Northwest. The NW Roaster’s Group was formed to provide a regional platform for continuing education, roaster development and preserving coffee roasting as a craft.

Stated in the fall of 2006, the NW Roaster’s Group holds two regional training weekends each year; one meeting in the spring and one in the fall. We have held two meetings to date. Our first meeting was held in October of 2006 in Portland Oregon. Click here for more details. Our most current meeting was held in March in Olympia. Click here for more details. The next meeting is scheduled for the fall of 2007 in Northern California. More details to follow in the next month or so.

The NW Roaster’s group does not have any membership dues and there is no need to sign up to be a member. This is a casual group and we can maintain the low cost of our regional meetings if we can avoid administration set up. If you would like to receive information on our regional meeting please send and email to This e-mail address is being protected from spam bots, you need JavaScript enabled to view it
